The Community for Personal Development, Inc. Presents:
I left feeling lighter, happier, and more in control of my future... It was intense, challenging, exhausting, and completely different to anything I have experienced. I am so happy I did it.
ABOUT THE COURSE
Breakthrough Weekend is a three-day experience in which you will challenge your limiting beliefs and expand your emotional agility. You will have healthy, supported experiences with grief, anger, shame, forgiveness, and play. Learn how you can discover purpose, connection, confidence, and self-love.
enrich your life
Unleash your joy
I was given the tools I needed to move forward in my life with a new fire, a renewed passion that I’ve been desperately needing for quite some time. I felt like I had a purpose again and that my dreams were really worth pursuing. One item that has really stuck with me since was this: 'If your dream doesn’t scare the crap out of you, it’s not big enough.' -Josh M. (coach).
Cheyenne first attended the Breakthrough Weekend in March of 2016, on her doctor's recommendation to help with an autoimmune health crisis. After attending the course Cheyenne fell in love with the community-style personal growth work, and continued to volunteer with the organization for the next 2 years. Cheyenne became the Co-Director of the Community for Personal Development, Inc and Breakthrough Weekend in the summer of 2018, and has been passionately growing the community ever since. When asked about why she loves working with Breakthrough she says "This is what I was always meant to be doing. This is my home, and my purpose."
Cheyenne has a Masters in Family Youth and Community Sciences, and a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Florida. She currently works for the University as an Infant Toddler Development Specialist, where she gets to teach parents and play with toddlers! Cheyenne fills her free time with hiking, playing video games, performing with the Gainesville Band and spending time with her amazing wife Laura.
While attending graduate school at the University of Florida in 2010, Pam Chamales became passionately committed to mental health and personal growth related to her own healing journey. She attended her first Breakthrough Weekend in the winter of 2013 and volunteered for the Community for Personal Development for the next five years, always enthusiastic about her contribution to the Organization. Pam became Co-Director of CPD in the summer of 2018 and is steadfastly holding a vision of growth and abundance for the Organization. What she loves most about the work she does are the gifts she creates for others who are seeking love, connection, and to know they matter.
Pam has a background in Biomedical Sciences and is an Assistant Professor at the College of Central Florida. When she is not teaching or hosting personal growth workshops, she can found at home with her loving husband and two pets, or out salsa dancing with her friends.
